Diana is a Southern Gal who is pushing 60 with a big broom....and loving it! Twenty years in corporate America and another twenty as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. I'll be the little old lady on the walker who comes to appraise your house or business!

I am now at a time in my life when I look back and wonder what will really be my legacy. I hope my faith, family, and friends define who I am. I would like to have more on my gravestone....than just "She was a hard worker"!

Welcome, Sigh of Relief

I'm with you. My husband calls me "Polyanna" sometimes, but I don't mind. You can have control over your life and everything about it. I choose to look at the positive side of most of my experiences. For example, my appendectomy that you read about in one of my Hubs, while unpleasant at the time, resulted in my taking early retirement due to the long recovery time. I figured if I had been away from my business for that length of time and not missed it, I should re-evaluate the rat race I was in. I'm still adjusting, but I think I'm going to like being retired.
